Paint two curved, vertical brown lines from the topmost center point of your orange plate. Leave a space about 2 inches wide between the lines, and paint the lines curving in opposite directions; the curves should mimic the sides of the plates to which each line is closest. Extend these curved lines to the bottom-center of the plate. - 3

Draw more curving lines from the top-center to the bottom-center. These lines should also be about 2 inches apart at their widest point. Once you've completed your lines, your orange plate should look a lot like a pumpkin. - 4

Paint an equilateral triangle in the very center of your pumpkin. This triangle shouldn't be much larger than an inch or two tall. Use black paint. Paint a wide, grinning crescent-shaped mouth. Allow the paint to dry. - 5

Draw triangles similar in size to your nose triangle for the pumpkin's eyes. Use a craft knife to cut out the triangles. - 6). Punch holes at the center of each side of the paper plate. Cut two lengths of string to 18 inches, and tie each string to a hole.
- 7). Cut a 2-inch tall, 1-inch wide rectangle from your felt, and glue it to the top-center of your pumpkin mask. Once the glue is dry, your mask is ready to wear.
