Expect More from Your Government

Did you know that the United States government has now a new web site, which deals with the issue that every American wants to have addressed?Americans have clearly spoken and the American people have made it known that they expect more from their government.
And so the government has responded with ExpectMore.
gov and this new web site was announced by President Bush and his administration.
The Bush administration has addressed and evaluated 800 Federal Government programs, which account for 80% of the federal budget and they want our government streamlined and of the waste cut out.
The Bush administration wants transparency and accountability from government and taxes to be kept low.
The taxpayers deserve to know which government programs are working, which ones are not and which ones need to get on the ball and get it done or get the ax.
During this election season I see that the Democrats do not want to make the tax cuts permanent and therefore they want to raise taxes.
Personally, I don't know about you but I do not want my taxes raised and I do not want the government doing anything that is inefficient or to develop any new social programs to raise my taxes.
Government's job in my opinion is to protect the American people and not to waste taxpayers money.
When we raise taxes we hurt the American people, we lower their standard of living and their quality of life, because we take the money that is theirs and we steal it from them and then waste it.
When we lower taxes, people have more money to spend and they are able to buy more things and save for retirement and that helps because it puts more money into their pockets.
When people spend more money there are more jobs to make the things that they buy and therefore more people paying into the system.
When people have more money they can save better for retirement and that money means a higher quality of life when they retire.
I do not want my taxes raised and I want my government efficient.
How about you?
