Dishwashing Soap

• Any brand of dishwashing liquid soap is a good flea remedy for dogs. Dishwashing liquid soap contains certain oils that kill any fleas hiding in the dog's fur. It doesn't dry the dog's fur out, like some other flea shampoos.
  
  

Flea Spray

• A homemade flea spray can be used to keep fleas at bay. This can made using 60 milliliters of water, two drops of pure lavender oil and two drops of pure cedar wood oil. Put into a spray bottle, mix well and spray on the dog to keep fleas away after using the homemade flea shampoo.
  
  

Flea Comb

• A flea comb is another effective home remedy for eliminating fleas. It picks out the nits (flea larvae) before they hatch.
  
  

Lemon

• A natural flea eliminator is lemon. Slice a lemon. Pour boiling water over it. After letting it sit overnight, spray the water on the dog.
  
  

Neem Oil

• Neem oil can be used to make a shampoo or a spray to repel fleas.
