Should I Wait on Health Care Reform Before I Get Health Insurance?

Right now, everything seem up in the air with health care reform.
Many people want to see universal coverage while many others are diametrically opposed to it.
What is happening is that each side is only focusing on the problems of each type of system without coming up with any real solutions.
In the midst of this indecision, more and more people are losing their health insurance either because of job loss or economic hardship.
Everyone knows that the current situation is bad.
Cost of medical care continues to rise at a much higher rate than inflation, and this is putting that much more strain on the system.
Many people are sitting on the sidelines not sure which way to turn, wondering what to do.
Information overload is the biggest problem keeping people from making the right decision when it comes to getting coverage for themselves and their families.
Regardless of the outcome on capitol hill, we all need to look at what is best for us right now.
If we wait around for them to make a decision, we might be waiting for a very long time.
This debate has been going on for decades, hasn't it? And don't even mention how long it will take to implement any changes that they do make.
These changes are also revised several times, and the way things look right now, probably a lot of that will have to be done.
Lets just hope that they do not create a bigger mess than already exists.
It comes down to doing what you can right now to get some kind of health insurance coverage to protect your interests and reduce your risk of huge medical bills.
We really can not afford to wait on politicians to solve our problems for us.
if we do that, we very well may be waiting forever.
