How to Sync a Windows Offline Folder

    • 1). Click the "Start" button and then click "My Computer."

    • 2). Click the "Tools" option from the top navigation bar.

    • 3). Click "Folder Options." The Folder Options dialog box will open.

    • 4). Click the tab labeled "Offline Files."

    • 5). Check the "Enable Offline Files" check box.

    • 6). Check the "Synchronize All Offline Files when Logging On" option.

    • 7). Check the "Synchronize All Offline Files when Logging Off" option.

    • 8). Check the reminder, shortcut and encryption check boxes, if desired.

    • 9). Slide the slider bar to indicate how much hard drive space will be utilized for temporary offline files.

      Click the "OK" button. The Offline folder is now set to synchronize with the network folder when logging on and when logging off of the network.
