How to Make Cucumber Dill Sandwiches
- 1). Empty the container of whipped reduced fat or fat free cream cheese in a bowl. Add the package of dry Italian salad dressing. Mix the reduced fat whipped cream cheese with the dry Italian salad dressing, making sure they are combined completely and no dry seasoning is left on top.
- 2). Wash the cucumber and cut into thin slices. Wash and chop on bunch of fresh dill. For a pretty twist, use a potato peeler to create lines in the cucumber peel before slicing. Do this by peeling small alternating lines into the cucumber.
- 3). Spread each slice of rye cocktail bread with approximately one tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture. Top each piece of bread with one cucumber slice, sprinkle with coarse grated sea salt and black pepper, and top each sandwich with a few sprigs of fresh chopped dill.
