How to Print a Screen on Windows XP Without a Key
- 1). Click on the "Start" menu button, then navigate to "All Programs."
- 2). Navigate to "Accessories," then to "Accessibility."
- 3). Click on "On-Screen Keyboard" to open it. Then click on the graphical button named "PSC" to print the screen.
- 1). Press the "Windows" key on your keyboard to open the "Start" menu. Alternatively, you can press "CTRL"+"ESC" on your keyboard to open the same menu as well.
- 2). Press the "P" button to navigate to "All Programs." Press "Enter" if the menu does not open automatically.
- 3). Press the "Down Arrow" key until you highlight "Accessories." Press "Enter" to navigate into the directory, and press "Enter" again to go into the "Accessibility" sub directory.
- 4). Press on the "Down Arrow" key until you highlight the "On-Screen Keyboard" program. Press "Enter" to open it.
- 5). Press "ALT"+"TAB," select the active message box that opens along with the On-Screen Keyboard program, then press "Enter" to close it. Afterward, press "ALT"+"TAB" again to select the "On-Screen Keyboard" program if it is not the active one after you close the message box.
- 6). Press "ALT"+"S" on your keyboard to access "Settings." Then press the "Down Arrow" key, highlight "Typing Mode" and press "Enter." Or you can press "T" to automatically open the "Typing Mode" menu when the "Settings" drop-down box is open.
- 7). Press "TAB" repeatedly until "Click to Select" is highlighted. Then press the "Down Arrow" key to choose the "Joystick or key to select" mode. Press "TAB" continually until "OK" is highlighted, then press "Enter."
- 8). Press the "Space Bar" to begin highlighting each row of the On-Screen Keyboard. Press the "Space Bar" again when the first row is highlighted, then press "Space Bar" one more time when the "PSC" button is highlighted to print the screen.
