Adding Programs to the Startup Menu on Vista

    • 1). Turn the computer on. Wait until Windows Vista completely loads.

    • 2). Click the "Start" button positioned at the left side of the taskbar. The startup menu will open.

    • 3). Select "All Programs." The programs in Windows Vista will appear in the menu.

    • 4). Click the folder for the program you wish to add to the startup menu. The icon for the program will appear in the folder's window.

    • 5). Right-click the icon for the program. A menu will appear. Choose "Pin to Start Menu." The program will be added to the startup menu.
