Video: Bake Fan Rolls
Video Transcript
For the fantan rolls we're gonna roll the dough out to about a quarter inch thick. Make sure you have a little flour on your board to keep that. And then we'll brush it with a little margarie or butter, melted margarine or butter. Brush it nicely coated it all over. Then we'll cut it into strips. Then stack those strips, like so. Let's cut it again so you have a nice stack of dough. Then just cut the pieces and put them in the pan sideways. Let's do another one. And these will bake, they should rise and fan out. That's why they are called fantans. And because the butter is in between they'll break apart nicely. I'm just going to take the rest of my dough, the little scraps and make one more roll. These you can just finish off by buttering litely. These are real buttery rolls. Let those rolls rise for about 30 minutes. Then we'll be baking in a 350 degree oven for about 12 to 15 minutes.
