The scam was that the manager had to pretend to send out the a certain priority number that they are given. The person who possessed that number would be able to play the slots. Then the manager who would call out the priority number of one of the people that John and Sandra Vaccaro had employed. The person who would be assigned to the task would get a slot that had previously been rigged.
In the end Sandra and John got caught and as for Sandra's conviction, she actually owned the title of being known as the only female who had made in into the List of Excluded Persons or more commonly known in Nevada as the little black book. Today, Sandra is more concentrated on the carpentry business that her and her husband share.
