Samsung TV - What to expect at CES 2011
CES is upon us. From 6th to 9th January, the Las Vegas event will be showcasing new innovations and products of the future from all major electronics manufacturers as well as the smaller manufacturers too.
Samsung is always one of the electronics manufacturers that put on a show to remember, introducing new and exciting gadgets, with one of the most intriguing areas of interest being Samsung TV.
So far this year, there has been talk of the Samsung Google TV range being launched at CES 2011, which has been pretty much confirmed. Samsung TV's are the best available on the market today with sales soaring above any other manufacturer, and it has been this way for a few consecutive years now. By including Google Internet on a new range of TVs, Samsung will be inclined to retain its high place within the market as competitors launch their own version.
Sony has introduced its own range of 24 to 46 inch Google TVs earlier this year which are readily available now along with a Sony Internet TV Blu-ray Player.
The Samsung range of TVs that are expected to have Google on board, will allow users to access the popular search engine from their TV and view internet content in large screen scale. Intel chipsets are suggested to be used within the Samsung TV range offering Google to power such internet use.
Internet application use on Samsung TVs is already featured within the range, with Samsung Apps offering a wide range of useful applications in over half of the Samsung TV range. There are 200 available apps which include favourites such as Twitter, Netflix, Blockbuster etc are available and since the Samsung Apps launch back in early 2010, there have been over 1 million downloaded. These internet application TVs do not offer the search engine option.
At CES 2010, Samsung introduced the LED 9000 range of TVs which delivered an absolutely outstanding design with a brushed Titanium finish, auto-slide touch controls, a 3D Hyper real Engine, Mega Contrast technology, Full HD resolution, Touch Control Remote with 3 inch LCD screen, Internet@TV and AllShare.
