How to Eliminate Jealousy
In this materialistic age that you live in you are surrounded by jealousy and envy.
If you have worked hard and achieved the goals that you have set yourself there is always someone who would like to see you fail.
It seems that wherever you go this is a normal reaction.
Jealous people are normally lazy and have no self motivation.
They just amble through life trying to get whatever their friends have.
The harder you work and the more wealth you amass, the jealous person thinks that they are entitled to be as wealthy as you even though they contribute nothing.
Jealousy is a negative emotion that can eat away at you if it is not controlled.
The old saying: "the devil makes work for idle hands" is very true and it could also be said "he also makes work for idle minds".
The lazy, negative person has so much time on their hands that they are overcome by greed but does nothing about it.
It seems that the less a person does the greedier they become and so on due to the time they have to think and dwell on all of the things they have not got but want in their life.
Their greed then fuels the jealousy when they cross paths with a successful person who is positive, hard working and enjoying the good things in life that they have earned.
If not controlled, jealousy can consume a person totally and get out of control prompting that person to perform acts of revenge on the successful person, their property or possessions which is obviously illegal and could get them into a lot of unnecessary trouble.
So instead of envying the successful person, a jealous person must try to emulate them.
This is only done by hard work and determination thus removing all negative thoughts from their mind replacing them with a positive mindset.
It must be remembered that jealousy and greed are not only negative emotions but are in themselves totally pointless and worthless.
Greed should be replaced by enthusiasm and jealousy replaced by the determination to succeed at all costs.
Greed fuels jealousy, jealousy fuels revenge and revenge fuels hatred.
These are four of the main negative emotions that must be eliminated from the jealous person's mind before they can begin to live a successful and worthwhile life.
Mark has concentrated on this subject as in his childhood he was blighted by lack of self confidence and low self esteem and would like to share his experiences of how he has overcome these issues in the hope that it will help others conquer similar problems.
