Caleb is the new bad boy at school. He can fix phones so that people won't be blocked, but he charges for it. Aria and Hanna discover that he's living at school and Hanna invites him to hide in her basement. They begin to form a relationship.

Ashley discovers him and kicks him out. Hanna goes with him and they camp in the woods. Hanna loses her virginity to him. But then she discovers that he'd been spying for Jenna. She doesn't believe that he ever loved her.

Caleb decides to go to Arizona to look for his mother, but before he leaves he writes a letter to Hanna. He takes it to her house and asks Ashley to give it to her, but Ashley tells him to give it to her himself. He goes to do that, but only finds Mona. Mona says Hanna doesn't want to see him. Caleb leaves the letter with Mona.

Mona rips up the letter and throws it away without telling Hanna. Caleb sees Hanna before he boards the bus, but she makes no indication that she wants him to stay, so he goes.

Lucas goes to get Caleb and Caleb returns with him.
