How to Clean Asphalt Shingles With Hydrogen Peroxide
- 1). Pour hydrogen peroxide into a pump sprayer.
- 2). Spray the hydrogen peroxide over the asphalt shingles and let it sit for two hours. This will loosen the stains, moss and lichen on the roof shingles. Rewet the roof shingles as needed to keep the roof wet.
- 3). Put the high-powered nozzle on the end of your hose.
- 4). Spray the roof. The pressure from the high-powered nozzle will remove the dirt and other residue from the roof.
- 5). Continue rinsing the roof until the water runs clear.
- 6). Let the roof dry completely.
