    • 1). Locate where on the wall to hang the cords. The cord cover can go anywhere, in horizontal or vertical orientation. Cord covers can even run along ceilings. Just above the floor molding or below the ceiling molding are common, inconspicuous locations. Use a train of multiple cord covers for extra long cords.

    • 2). Hold the wall track to the wall at the desired hanging location. Set a level on top to ensure the track is straight. Mark the screw holes.

    • 3). Set down the track and drill pilot holes through the drywall at the marked screw hole points. Use a drill bit that is just smaller than the diameter of the wall anchor shafts. Tap the wall anchors gently into the pilot holes with a hammer.

    • 4). Set the track back into place and drive the screws through the screw holes and into the wall anchors.

    • 5). Place the Internet, computer and any other necessary cords into the track. Place the cord cover over the cords and press down on it to snap it into the track.
