Is the GOP All About "Do-Nothing Policies" Asks President Obama
Presidents often take their political positions to the people and use their offices to lobby for popular support to persuade voters to take a stand with their elected representatives.
This is a common theme and since Obama is about the closest thing to a populist president than we've seen in many decades, he uses this strength early and often.
Not long ago, the CBS News had an interesting segment on July 31, 2010 entitled; "Obama Slams GOP's "Do Nothing Policies" and Accuses Republicans of "Partisan Maneuvering" to Hold Hostage lending Bill Directed to Small Businesses.
" Now then, I urge you to go to the CBS website and check out this story, and then come back here to listen to voice of reason and dismiss any statements made by politicians who've never had to make a payroll, and in my opinion are completely unfit to lead.
You see, if one calls blowing 878 Billion Dollars on a stimulus package, that provided no-jobs [I guess you'll call this opinion], and was nothing more than political pay-offs "doing something" then I say, we'd have been better off all along having done nothing at all.
These so-called shovel ready projects were in my opinion - the "bad joke" of the century.
Further, if one calls that night-mare of a bill, namely; "Obama-Care" = "Doing Something" then we'd also had been better off doing nothing [again you may call this opinion depending on which side of the fence you are on].
In fact, I seriously cannot see anything that Obama and the Democrats in Congress and the Senate have done as positive or actually helping our nation, indeed, in my view (not "The View" TV series") we'd all have been better off and saved 2-trillion dollars if we did nothing at all.
Sometimes when government does nothing, we Americans find ourselves in a much better situation, so, maybe if Obama's charge that the GOP is the "do nothing" party, well, maybe that is a very good thing, thus, we ought to be cheering them on, and strengthening their ranks.
Please consider all this.
