When Do We Know it is Time to End a Relationship?
Every relationship has its ups and downs, its good times and bad times.
Nothing is perfect for the whole time.
But question marks begin to raise when the downs are too frequent, or when you seriously doubt you can continue your life with your partner.
Breaking up is never easy, and it doesn't matter who is doing it, or how long you have been together.
Ending something you have shared with another individual, something which involved deep feelings, always feels a sense of sadness.
But sometimes it is the best thing you can do, for yourself and for the other person.
Yet, many relationships end because they are not given another chance.
In many cases, people are just too scared to try and work things out, and give it another shot.
Maybe it is because they are afraid of getting hurt or disappointed.
Maybe they just feel the relationship is "doomed", even though the strong feelings are still there.
The thing is, if you still love each other, and don't want to break up - do whatever you can to try and solve the problem/s.
Of course, there are some cases which should be a huge warning sign, for instance if your partner is constantly unfaithful, or if they repeat the same mistake (and you repeatedly take them back after explaining...
), or worse - if they are abusive.
Situations like these should really make you consider carefully if you are in the relationship just because you are afraid of loneliness...
And there are situations which can make you see how much you want to be with your partner, and how much you want to work through the problems and issues.
In many of these cases, you will benefit because the relationship and the connection will become stronger.
It is important to examine each case thoroughly, take everything into consideration, and do everything you can to work things out.
If you have tried everything, and still there is no solution, maybe it is time to say goodbye.
It isn't easy, but it will probably be the best thing to do.
