    • 1). Clear away any obstructions placed around the pool such as ladders. Unfold the cover and pull it across the pull surface, allowing it to float on the surface of the water. Ensure the Loop-Loc cover overlaps the pool equally at each corner. Attach the straps around the perimeter of the cover to the springs packaged with the cover.

    • 2). Measure 18 inches away from the corner of the Loop-Loc cover twice at right angles. Mark the locations on the ground and repeat with each corner of the cover.

    • 3). Drill into the pool concrete 2 to 3 inches deep with a rotary hammer drill with a masonry bit. Spray the holes with water to clear away dirt and debris. Place one Loop-Loc cover anchor into each hole and hammer each down flush with the concrete using a tamping tool.

    • 4). Hook a cover spring located at the corner of the cover onto the metal installation rod. Set the rod over the nearby anchor and tilt the rod forward to slide the cover spring down and onto the anchor. Repeat for each corner anchor and spring.

    • 5). Attach each remaining cover spring to the anchors using the installation rod. Adjust the straps and springs to ensure the cover remains tight.
