Instructions for a Date Stamp
- 1). Access your digital camera's menu section. Turn on the digital camera by pressing the power button. Open the camera's menu. This is either accomplished by pressing the "menu" button located directly on the device, or scrolling to the menu section using the camera's scroll wheel.
- 2). Open the Time and Date settings pane within the menu. Using the camera's directional pad or the touchscreen, select the "Tools" section, typically visualized with a wrench or hammer symbol. Within the "Tools" section, navigate to the "Time / Date" section, and select it to adjust the time stamp.
- 3). Adjust the time and date settings on the camera. Scroll left or right to highlight individual time or date values that you want to change. Press the up or down buttons to increase or decrease the time and date on the camera. Once the camera has the correct date, Select the "Save" or "Set" button to apply changes to the device.
