How to Set the Alert Sounds on a BlackBerry
- 1). Highlight the "Speaker" icon from the BlackBerry home screen and select it.
- 2). Select "Edit Profiles" and choose one of the profiles to edit.
- 3). Select each category for which you want to set alerts. For example, select "Messages" to edit alerts for SMS text messages MMS picture messages and email messages. You can then navigate through the available alerts and ring tones on your BlackBerry for each message type. Then choose which alert you want to sound with each message type. Continue to edit each category.
- 4). Click "Save."
- 5). Repeat steps 2 through 4 for each profile and each category.
