CMA Music Festival - Riverfront Stage Shows
< Continued from page 1
The last person we saw was Rockie Lynne. This artist writes all his own songs and does a great job. He started his portion of the show with the uptempo "Super Country Cowboy." Next came his current single, "Do We Still."
Rockie talked about his mother and his being adopted at a young age. Rockie said that when he would tell his mother he loved her, she would always answer that she loved him more. After she passed away, he wanted to write a song about this and "More" was the result.
This is a very touching song and shows Rockie's ability to write about this personal subject.
The final selection was his hit "Lipstick." This song had the crowd on its feet and singing along.
It was getting too hot to be in the sun, so we decided to leave after this and head back to the hotel for a bit.
