Welcome back. In this second part I will continues with the rest of the top professional window cleaning techniques. I will show you how to scrub, scrape and wipe your windows so they become brilliantly clean.

Scrubbing. Before you start scrubbing, you need to have all the needed tools near you. The most used tool is the so-called T-Handle. This is actually a plastic tools with the shape of T which allows you to scrub with a cloth attached to it. You could choose between swivel and fixed handle depending on your personal preferences. Most of the people prefer the swivel handle, because of its better diversity. Also be careful to choose a handle with the appropriate size. Another useful tool for scrubbing is the wand cover. This is actually what slips over the wand. Again, there is a wide variety of shapes and sizes. If you have tinted windows you will probably want to use a softer sleeve without bristles, so you avoid scratching the tint.

Scraping. Scraping is another useful and easy method for cleaning your windows. However, there are some really important things you need to keep in mind before you actually begin scraping. First, if you are going to deal with hard debris, always use a professional window scraper. They are specifically designed to be used on glass. When you use scrapers, keep in mind that you need to get them wet before you actually use them. Also, make sure your scraped isn't rusty. Wiping the edges. When you're ready with the main areas of the windows it's time to move on to wiping the edges. This procedure is also known as detailing. The key here is to remove any remaining wet on the corners. That way you will get the wanted flawless look. The easiest way to blot the water is to use the dry part of a towel. If you find even a small wet part around the edges, it's better to start over. If you choose to use a squeegee, you better start from the edges towards the centre.

Trouble shooting. We humans do make mistakes. Using a squeegee can't always be the best solution. Sometimes you may have problems with water being left behind or drips running from the top, streaks, but don't worry. Even the professionals falter. It is important to identify the problem. For example, if you find streaks it's more likely the squeegee to have made them.
