    Getting Your System Back to Normal using the "System Restore" feature

    • 1). Go to "Start" menu.

    • 2). Click "Programs".

    • 3). Click "Accessories".

    • 4). Click "System Tools".

    • 5). Click on "System Restore." This action will bring up a system-restore window.

    • 6). Select the "Restore my computer to an earlier time" radio button.

    • 7). Click on "Next" at the bottom right of the System Restore window. This will bring you to several restore points.

    • 8). Click on the restore point that has a date and time previous to the date and time of your computer getting infected with the Uclean Virus.

    • 9). Click on "Next" at the bottom right of the system restore window. This will bring you to a confirmation screen.

      Click "Next." System Restore will shut down all open applications and reboot your computer.

    Erasing All of the Previous Restore Points

    • 1). Go to "Start" menu.

    • 2). Right click "My Computer". This will bring up a drop-down menu.

    • 3). Click "Properties". This will bring up "System Properties" dialog box.

    • 4). Click "System Restore" tab.

    • 5). Check off "Turn off System Restore" check box.

    • 6). Click "OK". This action will bring up the confirmation window.

    • 7). Click "Yes". This action will turn off "System Restore" feature and the dialog box will close.

    • 8). Restart your computer.

    • 9). Repeat steps 1-4 to bring up the "System Restore" window up.

      Uncheck the "Turn off System Restore" check box.

      Click "OK". This action will enable the "System Restore" feature and the dialog box will close.
