How to Use a Wood Biscuit
- 1). Place the two wood parts together on a work surface to form a joint. Mark the center of the joint on each part using a pencil.
- 2). Align the biscuit joiner on the end of the wood parts, one at a time, and center it over the pencil mark. Turn the joiner on and guide it into the wood to make the cut on each part.
- 3). Apply wood glue to the inside of each cut in the two parts. Apply wood glue to the edges of the wood biscuit and insert the biscuit into one of the cuts in the parts. Join the two parts together while inserting the remaining side of the biscuit into the remaining cut in the part.
- 4). Squeeze the parts tightly together and clamp them together at the joint. Allow the glue to dry for 24 hours and remove the clamps.
