There was quite a lineup of star power at this year's Daytime Emmy ceremony -- including host Tyra Banks -- but amongst all of the young faces, botoxed soap opera stars, and shimmery-gowned talk show hosts, one woman stood out and made everyone take notice.

Betty White is one of the most beloved television stars ever to grace the small screen. Over the past seven decades she has entertained us on game shows and sitcoms, from playing Password like she was born to do so to playing wonderfully quirky characters on sitcoms.

At the age of 93, she's just as quick-witted as she was decades ago. If ever an award was well-deserved, it would be this one.

The Daytime Emmy Awards honored Betty White with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015. In her acceptance speech, White thanked everyone -- along with their mothers and fathers, and grandmothers and grandfathers, and "a couple of great-grandfathers when (she) was younger..."

This is White's sixth Emmy award, including one for hosting the game show Ask Men. Her other wins include one for hosting Saturday Night Live, another for a guest appearance on the sitcom The John Larroquette Show, one for Outstanding Lead Actress for The Golden Girls, and two for supporting actress on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. She's been nominated a total of 21 times.
