How do I Change Modes on Coolpix 3200?
- 1). Turn your Nikon Coolpix 3200 to the "on" position by pushing the "On/Off" button on the top right of the camera.
- 2). Locate the menu dial on the back of the camera. To the right of the viewfinder---the small window you look through to see what the picture will look like---is a dial with eight options.
- 3). Rotate the dial so that the mode depicting the closest shooting environment is lined up with the selector dot to the left of the dial.
- 4). Choose the "Portrait," "Landscape," "Sports" or "Night" portrait modes for more options based on the shooting conditions. Rotate the dial to one of these positions. Looking at the monitor on the back of the camera, use the "Multi Selector" button---the round button with up, down, right and left arrow indicators located to the right of the monitor---to highlight the closest secondary mode. Push the center "Multi Selector" button to make the selection. For example, to take a photograph of architecture, rotate the dial to the "Landscape" mode. Using the "Multi Selector" button, choose the "Architecture" option. Press the shutter-release button---the button used to take a photograph---to take a new picture of architecture.
