The Popol Vuh is a book written, in the middle of the 16th century, in Quiché, a Guatemalan Mayan language, using the Roman alphabet, on the topics of the chronology to 1500, culture, and mythology of the Maya. Francisco Jiménez, a Guatemalan priest, found the document in the 18th century.
