When you quit smoking, you are so tense and irritated that it makes it difficult to sleep.
Foggy headed - It is common for people to feel like they are in a fog.
It is difficult to concentrate.
When you quit smoking your focus is on wanting a cigarette and it is hard to focus on anything else.
Irritable behavior - Everyone suffers from this when they stop smoking.
You are going through a drug withdrawal and denying yourself the drug.
Increase in appetite - Most people when they stop smoking do gain weight because of an increase in appetite and the fact that nicotine burns calories.
There is a need to do something with your hands and mouth to replace the motions of smoking cigarettes.
The good news is that these symptoms don't last long and when you are a non-smoker you will feel so much better.
Your health and well being will drastically improve.
You will finally be able to breathe better, your sense of smell and taste will return and your lungs will start to heal.
It is difficult to get through but it is well worth it in the long run.
