    • 1). Pick a program to design your template. If you're not very familiar with flier design, use a standard word processing or layout program. Otherwise, use a professional layout program.

    • 2). Establish the backdrop for your cleaning business flier. Make the flier professional and clean (just like your business); use a neutral color such as white, gray, tan or a deep blue.

    • 3). Post your logo, business name, phone number, address, website and motto at the top of the flier. Use a basic font for your text such as Times New Roman, Arial or Tahoma. Use no more than two different fonts---one for the body and one for the headline. Choose either black or white for the color (whichever looks best against your background). Keep this information the same for all fliers.

    • 4). Insert a picture of one of your employees cleaning a client's home on the right side of the flier template. One descriptive photo is all you need. You can change this picture with a new employee each time you create a new flier if you want.

    • 5). Type in a bullet point list on the left side of the flier (next to the photo) listing all of your most popular home cleaning services. Keep this list the same on each flier unless you add new services for clients.

    • 6). Write in your current offer underneath the bulleted list, centered on the page. For instance, "$99 whole house cleaning for new clients." Change this element from time to time, depending on your current promotion.

    • 7). Add two or three customer testimonials under the bulleted list so that prospective clients can see what your existing customers have to say about your work. Update this section of your flier template whenever you get more glowing reviews from customers.

    • 8). List the details of your offer in smaller print at the very bottom of the flier. Change this section if necessary to go with each new promotion.
