Although this jar has been at times attributed to California Originals, as you can see by the sticker, it was Made in Japan. The jar is also lightweight, not a trait of California Original Jars.

The Mickey Birthday cake jar was made the year Mickey turned fifty years old.

At one time the jar was selling for as high as $800 - $900, but prices have dropped drastically over the past few years.
