How to Sync a Palm
- 1). Install the sync software that came with your Palm onto your computer if you haven't done so already. To do this, insert the sync software disc into your computer and follow the installation on-screen prompts.
- 2). Connect the USB end of the included data cable into any open USB port on your computer. Consult your computer user guide if you have any problems locating the USB ports.
- 3). Run the end of the cable with the sync button to the port in the bottom of your Palm to connect it. Wait for the text box to appear on your computer screen verifying that it recognizes the unit.
- 4). Press the sync button on the end of the data cable nearest the Palm and wait for the text box to appear on your computer screen informing you when the sync is complete. The time it takes to sync will vary depending on how much information is stored on your Palm.
