How to Use Emachine Audio Ports for 5.1 Sound
- 1). Connect the left, center and right front speakers to the back of the subwoofer by inserting the plug on each speaker cable into the labeled audio OUT jack on the back of the sub.
- 2). Plug the cables from the two rear speakers into the rear audio OUT jacks on the back of the sub.
- 3). Connect an audio cable to the Stereo Input jack on the back of the sub and plug the other end into the Line OUT port on the back of the Emachine. This connection sends the signal to the front left and right speakers.
- 4). Attach an audio cable from the Center IN jack on the sub to the Center port on the back of the Emachine. This connection sends the signal to the center channel speaker, which supplies most of the dialog when watching movies with a Surround Sound audio track.
- 5). Plug another audio cable from the Rear port on the Emachine to the Rear IN jack on the back of the sub. This connection sends the surround signal to the rear channel speakers.
- 6). Connect the final audio cable from the Sub port on the Emachine to the SUB IN jack on the back of the subwoofer.
- 7). Connect the electrical cord on the back of the sub to a wall outlet.
