    Instructions

    • 1). Wash your hand with soap and warm water. Dry thoroughly. Stay by the sink for the whole process; it makes lenses easier to find if dropped.

    • 2). Open the lens case and fill it to the top with solution. Leave the case open, and place it on the edge of the sink.

    • 3). Always start with the same eye, it helps make the process routine. Use the middle finger of your non-dominant hand to raise your top eyelid. Use the middle finger of your dominant hand to lower your bottom eyelid.

    • 4). With your dominant hand, place the pad of your index finger on the center of the contact lens; this should be right in the middle of your pupil. While keeping your finger in place, slowly look up. This should slide the lens down your eye to a place where it does not fit flush against the eye, and provides you with a place to grab it.

    • 5). Bring the thumb of your dominant hand in, and carefully pinch the contact lens, pulling it away from your eye. Place it in the lens solution, and make sure it is suspended evenly in the solution. Close the cap.

    • 6). Repeat the process with your other eye.
