Have you ever considered doing a decorative concrete project before but don't really know how to start it? Are you scared that you'll end up ruining your space rather than turning it into a more aesthetically appealing one? I was also scared to try to do decorative concrete to my deck the first time.

  First of all, I learned that it's important to take the weather into consideration.
Making a decorative concrete requires pouring in a new layer of mixture of concrete over the old one and if rain suddenly breaks out you won't be glad about the final result of your project.
Second of all, make sure that you work with a friend who had done a project like it before.
Your friend will be able to help you have a clearer picture of your finish product.
He will also be able to help you especially if you have a big space you need done.
Third of all, and the most important, before you take on the project, make sure you take a look at previous successful ones, preferably spaces that have the same size as yours.
It helps more if you have a view of what your decorative concrete project is supposed to look like after you're finished.
  As someone who is a fan of different forms of art, I got very interested at the concept of decorative concrete and it turned out to be one of the best ideas I've taken on for myself.
Also, I found out that creativity naturally surfaces especially if you have a friend to help you out and you have other beautiful decorative projects to check out for inspiration.
