Never come to the market unprepared.
Always take the time to organize yourself, your books, and every other bit of your business no matter how minutiae they may seem.
Always keep your records up to date.
Before this I should have said always keep records.
Good record keeping is very essential to any business.
Your records simply tell you how well or how poorly you are doing.
Shows you your strengths and weaknesses.
And you can project where your business will be in the next five years by simply looking at your record books.
Always take pride in your appearance, that of your employees and your working environment.
It makes you very efficient and productive.
Be creative.
Always look for new, faster, cheaper and easier ways to run your business.
The only thing that can hinder your creativity is if you don't have an open mind.
The more willing you are to embrace new ideas, no matter how unconventional they may sound, the faster your business will grow.
This does not mean you should implement every idea that comes your way.
Sift them and discard the chaff.
And remember these ideas could come from any source.
Creativity is just another word for improvement.
Stay focused.
This tip takes you very far in your business journey no matter how clumsy you may be.
Focus basically means keeping your eyes on your business goals and doing that little bit today that contributes to making that goal a reality.
How many donuts need to go off the shelf today for you to make $480? How many shoes do you need to shine tomorrow to make $200? Do one small bit every day Lack of money is not an issue.
Lack of money should never ever be an issue if you have a great business idea.
Ideas rule the world not money.
If you spend your time concentrating on creatively implementing your business ideas, lack of money will never be an issue.
Get the right products and services, display them creatively and money will flow in.
