Most people choose using stainless steel for their cookware. Stainless steel is used because of its characteristic and appearance. It is tough and shiny. Also, it seems to be the most appropriate element for any cookware or kitchen set such as pot, frying pan, spatula, knife, fork, spoon, and any others because it does not bend easily. Besides, it is able to stand in high temperature.

However, another reason people prefer using this material for cookware is that it looks good. That is why stainless steel cookware is sold in higher price. Stainless steel is a kind of high quality material that it is utilized to make some kitchen equipment. You can find almost all kitchen sets are made of stainless steel. This material consists of other substances, such as nickel, iron, and chromium. Nickel is used to keep it shine. Nevertheless, shining is not enough. When something deals with food, it must be clean to guarantee health. Then you may follow these steps to keep your kitchen sets clean.

First thing you have to do is to clean the inner surface by soaking the tools with water then heat them till the water starts to boil. The hot water is able to escape bacteria within the residue of the food. Besides, it is safe and will not reduce the quality of the steel.

For daily cleaning, you can wash them with warm water and detergent. You can use an abrasive sponge for gentle scrubbing. Or, you can pour boiling water into the stained pan to remove the heavy dirt. If you find the remnants of food difficult to remove, you may also use vinegar and lemon juice. Then dry your cookware carefully with soft cloth.

One thing you have to pay attention, do not let the remnants of food get dry. When they are dried, they will be hardened and stuck onto your cookware. Such remnant is difficult to remove. That is why you are suggested to clean your stainless steel cookware as soon as possible before it gets cool. Do not use any abrasive cleansers. Remember you can only use abrasive sponge. Abrasive cleansers will damage the finish of your stainless steel cookware. Besides, the substances of such cleansers are not good for your health.
