  Organization is important in every room in the home, especially in a child's room. Everything in their room should have a place, whether they are infants or teenagers. Look for storage solutions that are bright, fun, durable, easy to keep clean and appropriate for different age groups.
  
  

Crates and Boxes

• Sturdy plastic crates come in handy for many storage needs. Place them low for small children to access or stacked for older children. Train your children from a young age to place things back into their appropriate crates. Crates come in bold color choices for appeal.
  
  Place crates on the floor along a wall, providing easy access for children to use. They will fit on closet floors to hold shoes, purses and school supplies--and on the top shelf of a closet to hold out-of-season clothes. Door Storage

• Over the door storage units come in handy for more than just shoes. Units with pockets hold small stuffed animals, as well as winter items such as gloves and hats, keeping them off the floor. Store hair accessories in the clear pockets for easy viewing and sorting.
