The city of Wildwood, New Jersey, is technically a municipality located on a small barrier island with four other municipalities; North Wildwood, West Wildwood, Diamond Beach and Wildwood Crest, commonly referred to as "The Wildwoods." Wildwood is known as a tourist town with a regular population of approximately 5,400 growing to more than 250,000 during vacation time. This city has a large variety of attractions including deep-sea fishing, miniature golf and water parks. Wildwood has many cafés and restaurants that serve breakfast for those who live on, or visiting the island. - The Boathouse Restaurant offers guests both casual dining and seafood-menu items and plays live music daily. The restaurant is located on a marina deck and overlooks the ocean. The Boathouse has both upstairs and downstairs-seating areas and is open daily at 4 p.m. If you're interested in breakfast, the Boathouse has open deck seating from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m., as of 2010. Breakfast items include, light fare such as bagels, cinnamon buns, oatmeal and muffins, as well as some heartier dishes such as sausage, bacon, steak and eggs and pancakes. Beverages include, orange juice and coffee as well as adult beverages such as mimosas and bloody marys.

The restaurant opens daily at 8 a.m., as of 2010, and its breakfast menu includes omelets, waffles, pancakes and croissant sandwiches. The Doo Wop is located in downtown Wildwood in a large strip mall near the beach.

Morey's also has a special treat for those early risers called "Breakfast in the Sky". This is a reservation-only Ferris wheel that travels 150 feet in the air over the Atlantic Ocean and seats up to four guests per cart. Menu items include waffles, omelets, seafood specials and steak and eggs.
