Official Summary:

Kyle managed to emerge from Zzyzx with Baylin?s secret box, but the only key is Baylin?s ring, last seen on Ballantine?s finger. Desperate to find out what secrets lie within the box, Kyle, Declan and Foss team up together to go after it. But to do so they must infiltrate Madacorp. Their plan works fine until an unexpected glitch...Lori shows up to confront her father about his affair with Emily. Kyle is able to get the ring off Ballantine?s finger, but at a cost--Foss is captured and held hostage. A sobered Kyle uses the ring to open the box. Inside he finds only one thing--a photograph of Kyle and Jessi.

Key Moments:

Ballantine drops by for dinner, using his suave geniality to probe for cracks in the Trager family. Kyle has a kind-of date with Amanda followed by a kind-of fight when he bails on her. Josh comes to Nicole for advice on how to deal with Andy. Kyle brings Declan to the warehouse; Foss flips out bigtime, but Kyle takes charge and tells him to get real.

The big revelation is the photo of Kyle and Jessi -- which must actually be of Adam and whoever Jessi was cloned from; meanwhile Nicole sees that Jessi draws like Kyle does. Jessi finds out about Emily's daughter. Taylor has a ring like Baylin's; it relates to Latnok.

Cute Trager Family Drama of the Week:

Lori confronts Stephen over the affair that Madacorp wants the Tragers to think he's having with Emily. Startlingly, she doesn?t seem to believe him when he claims innocence. The Josh/Andy dynamic continues to develop both characters nicely.

Biggest Mystery:

In "Ghost in the Machine" we saw Adam, just as he was being fired from Zzyzx, put the locked box away in a hidden safe. Clearly this was something private and secret. But wouldn't others at Zzyzx have known who Jessi was cloned from (Taylor, for example)? Why was this photo kept under such tight security? And also: Why on earth does everyone at Madacorp have touch-tone safes?

Bottom Line: Worth Watching?:

This is a key episode as both Nicole and Kyle find out that Jessi is probably someone like Kyle, while Jessi learns that Emily is hiding things from her -- oddly enough, her scene with Paige at the carnival is Jessi's most adult moment yet.
