Understanding Guru"s
The business or being in business has never been easier, with the implementation of the Internet to the world, the possibility of starting, and owning your online venture can now become a reality. Many of us have always wanted our own business and have the skill, and knowledge, but not the finances. Or we have all three but are not exactly sure how to get everything up and running. This is where the infamous Guru comes in to play. Since understanding the process of setting up a business takes several different knowledge skills, we often refer to others who have already done it.
Keep in mind that this is a very wise thing to do, however it is also wise to understand that studying to many people at once, increases your chances of getting what's called analysis paralysis, this means you receive so much information that you actually become afraid to make a move, or a decision. Now, in business you are often required to make on the spot decisions, so being mindful that this can, and will happen, at some point allows you to have a watchful eye for when you find your self falling into that zone. One of the reasons we fall into that trap is because, you want to learn as much as you can about your craft, which also is a great idea, but, the downside is there are so many people offering how-to's, the best way, the easiest and fastest, the big money this, and the list goes on and on.
So my advise to you as a want to be business owner, is to gain all the knowledge you can, while using a filter, when processing for the results. Because it's very easy to start learning Guru #1's system and get to a point that you are no longer learning from that system, so you go to Guru #2 and while it's true you gain more knowledge and are able to implement more into your business, you still are not making any money. So you go to Guru #3 and the results are the same, so eventually you become frustrated and say this stuff doesn't work. One of the secrets I like to pass on to everyone I speak with is how important it is for you to find where your PASSION is, because where ever that is for you is where you need to spend most of you creative time
Remember this: if you are able to make a living doing the thing you enjoy most, you have found the key necessary to bring out the very best you, you could ever be. And we all have that thing.
