How to Play Custom-Made "Starcraft"

    • 1). Download the custom "StarCraft" map you want to use from the Internet. Sites like FreeWebs.com, Nibbits.com and StarCraft Maps.com provide hundreds of different free maps designed to be played with the game. Click the "Download" link on the page for the map you want to download to save the associated file to your hard drive.

    • 2). Open your computer's "Start" menu. Click "Computer."

    • 3). Click the "C" drive icon.

    • 4). Click "Program Files."

    • 5). Open the "StarCraft" folder followed by the "Maps" folder. Drag the file that represents your custom-made map into this folder. Close out of the folder on screen.

    • 6). Place your "StarCraft" CD-ROM into your computer and click the "Play" option in the window that appears. Select "Single Player" if you have created a single player map or "Multiplayer" if you want to play your map with two or more people. Select the "Play Custom" option and select the listing for your map to play on it with "StarCraft."
