How to Enlarge Photos Without Blur
- 1). Open the Start menu, then select the “Microsoft Paint” application.
- 2). Select the “Paint” button, click “Open” and select the image you wish to enlarge.
- 3). Select the “Home” tab and click “Resize” (within the “Image” grouping).
- 4). Select the option to “Maintain Aspect Ratio.” This prevents the image from getting skewed as you enlarge it.
- 5). Enter the percentage by which you’d like to enlarge the photo. Start small, enlarging the photo by 5 percent or 10 percent. After the enlargement, inspect the image. You can only enlarge a photo so much before it inevitably becomes a bit blurry. Small, incremental enlargements is the best bet to preserve the fidelity of the photo. Click “OK” when satisfied.
