The name moving blankets is a little bit misleading.
Sure moving blankets are primarily used to cover and wrap around furniture during a move.
Sure they're meant to protect your belongings but you can also use them in so many other ways.
The possibilities are actually endless but here are two great ways that I use them around the house.
I utilize them the best by covering my storage that's in the garage with them.
If you have the cotton/polyester blend fabric ones like I do then you'll know that they are great because they protect against dust and mildew.
They are also easy to wash so when they collect too much dust just put them in the washing machine.
The better quality brands are able to withstand many washings because they're made with quality bindings.
The second way I use them is by placing a moving blanket on the floor and letting my toddler play on it.
The cushion gives my baby comfort and also protects him from potentially bumping his head on the floor.
It gives me peace of mind knowing he's on a clean blanket with a little extra padding.
These are just two ways to use moving blankets but you can certainty use them in so many other ways, like taking them along on a picnic.
So think about what I wrote when you're considering buying moving blankets.
