    • 1). Open the document you plan to type in, such as a word processing document or email.

    • 2). Type words using lowercase letters. To do this, simply type as you normally would on the keyboard.

    • 3). Press "Shift" and a letter to make a single letter capital. This button is located on your keyboard below the Caps Lock key on the left side of your keyboard and below the Enter key on the right side of the keyboard.

    • 4). Press the "Caps Lock" key to make a string of words in all capitals.
