    • 1). Engage the Corolla's emergency brake and make sure the ignition is turned off. Open the hood of the Corolla before locating and removing the trim that covers the rear of the headlight assembly.

    • 2). Unscrew the three mounting screws that hold the headlight assembly in place by turning them counter-clockwise with a screwdriver or a set of pliers. This is located under the hood at the rear of the headlight assembly. Set the screws aside in a safe place so you can have access to them later.

    • 3). Remove the electrical wiring harness from the back of the headlight assembly and pull the assembly forward to remove it from the vehicle. Slide the new headlight assembly into place where the old assembly was removed. Once the headlight assembly is in place, reconnect the electrical wiring harness.

    • 4). Secure the headlight assembly into place using the screws that were removed earlier. These screws should now be turned clockwise. Replace the headlight trim cover and test headlight to ensure it is working properly.
