Should You Take Advice In A Relationship?

Well, there are people who are intent on giving their advice whether you solicit it or not. Now these people may have something valid to offer, but sometimes it is easy to understand why we chose to ignore their advice in a relationship.

It can be annoying and intrusive. Advice in a relationship is a delicate matter to handle. Not many people want to hear how they can be better people for their partners. Usually, the quest is for how much pleasure one can get out of a relationship. Perhaps this is why many relationships fail.

Thus, should we consider taking advice in a relationship? Yes, definitely. There will always be room for improvement, and so if we look beyond the personality of the person giving the advice, and really listen to their advice, then just maybe, we will find something worth thinking about.

The first and only problem with advice in a relationship is being too proud to listen and heed. If we are too proud, we will never find fulfillment in a relationship - of any kind.

Think about it. If you are an individual with his head stuck in his pants, then you are better off going solo. You will never be open to advise in a relationship. Thus, you will suffer for it - eventually.

To make changes, start by thinking whether you want to grow old or not. Taking advise in relationship only attempts to improve what you already have - a relationship. If you want to have a life partner to grow old with, you need to be able to accept constructive advice in a relationship.

When you manage to do this, you will start to experience a better and more fulfilling relationship.

Mind you, not all advise in a relationship is good. There are some unscrupulous people who would say anything to get you out of a certain relationship for personal reasons. Learn to separate the bad from the good. Keep an open mind in that it is possible for even your BFF to give you bad advise. Your interpretation and personal discretion should work double time to correct what is wrong, and disregard that which do not need fixing.
