Hello, and welcome to Baking with Melissa. Today, we are making a chocolate chip cookie dessert with cream. Now to save a little time I went ahead and baked the cookie dough in to the bottom of my nine by 13 pan. Now you can make your own cookie dough if you'd like or you can do what I did and skip a step and I bought 16 and a half ounce package of already made cookie dough. But I always say homemade is always better. But sometimes we need to save a little time so this works as well. Now I baked this in my nine by 13 pan at 350 degrees for about 14 minutes. Pull it out of the oven, let it cool on a wire rack and then you can start the rest of your process. OK next step we're going to use eight ounces of cream cheese and one cup of sugar, powdered sugar and we are going to go ahead and mix that together in the mixer. Once you have your powdered sugar and your cream cheese mixed up, you're going to put one cup and three fourths of a cup of whipped topping in to the bowl and just fold it in together. When we're folding the whipped topping in, we want to make sure we don't whip it up too much because we need to have that light airy fluffiness from the whipped topping. Once you have that mixed up, we're going to go ahead and put this mixture right on top of the cookie dough that we've already prepared. And we'll just spread it on evenly. And the great thing about this dessert is it does not have to look perfect. You're just going to dig in to a dish and eat all the good stuff. All right I'm just evening it out here. Then we have another layer. Next up the best part, we're going to get to work with the chocolate. This step you want to have one small package of chocolate instant pudding and one small package of vanilla instant pudding. You'll put both of them in to your bowl and then you're going to mix it with three cups of milk. Now the great thing about this recipe is if you want to lighten it up, you can use sugar free puddings, you can use the fat free puddings, and also you can use the different kinds of milk as well. Skim milk, full milk, reduced whatever and soy. You can do whatever you want. And same with the whipped topping. There's so many options out there for you. So we're going to mix this together and we're going to add that on top of what we already have. Next up we're going to use the remaining bit of whipped topping. We started off with 12 ounces. We used one cup and three fourths so you'll have plenty left. And we're just going to spread it over the top of the pudding layer that we just put on. Spread it around. And this recipe needs to be chilled for about eight hours so the best thing to do is make it the night before you need it and then when you wake up in the morning you'll have the perfect dessert already ready to go. And then since we have a chocolate chip cookie underneath, we're going to add chocolate chips to the top of it as well. I'm just going to sprinkle them around. You can get creative if you want to add other things in there. But I feel like some chocolate chips will do this some justice. So there you have it. It's easy. No bake desserts are such a fun way to make something quick and impress all of your guests at your next pot luck or social event. Thank you for joining me. I'm Baking with Melissa and we'll see you next time.
