Hi, I'm Skylar. I'd like to show you how to create a new user on a MacBook Pro. To do that I'm going to open system preferences. I'll use Spotlight to do this. Spotlight is here in the upper right hand corner of your computer, click it. Another way to engage Spotlight is by using command space bar, so hold command, press space bar. Spotlight will open, type in Sys, the top hit is system preferences. Your return key will launch it. You can do this with any program. In the lower left hand corner I see users and groups. If I click it, then I want to unlock. So I click the lock to make changes and it's going to ask me for my administrator password. I'm going to type that in and click unlock. Now I'm free to make changes to the user's and groups. In the lower left hand corner I see plus, I click plus and then I type in the name of the user, the account name which it generates automatically and then I create a password, verify the password and type in a hint. I click create user and now we have another user. If I click on the picture here, I can choose one or create one from the built-in Facetime HD camera.
