  Several specialty tool manufacturers make tools specifically for Toyota parts and services. Keeping Toyotas on the road is a lucrative business. Toyota Motor Corp. is the world's biggest car maker by sales volume as of fall 2010, according to the Wall Street Journal.
  
  

Clamp Removal

• Assenmacher makes a Toyota A/C Clamp Removal Tool with the product number ASTTPY200. The Toy 200 removes special air conditioning line clamps on most 1998 and newer Toyotas. The 8-ounce tool was made in the U.S. and fits both Toyota AC clamps used on low- and high-pressure lines. The Toy 200 also features stainless steel release pins, and identifications and instructions laser-marked on the handle.
  
  Assenmacher, based in Boulder, Colorado, has made specialty automotive tools since 1973, with a special line for Toyota vehicles.
  
  

Wrenches

• Assenmacher also sells a steel, 10-by-12 mm carburetor wrench, product number 12970, as well as a 74-mm oil filter wrench, product number M0219. The oil filter wrench fits Mercedes, Toyota and Mazda models, and is part of sets 2100, F2500, and Toy 300. The 2100 set is a seven-piece oil filter set, the F2500 is a five-piece oil filter socket set, and the Toy 300 is a Toyota oil filter wrench set.
  
  

Sockets

• SPX manufactures the Head Bolt Socket 09043-38100 for Toyota vehicles. The 10 mm Allen socket has a hexagonal end, and is used on the Land Cruiser and MR2. SPX manufactures specialty tools and equipment, as well as information and services. It is the parent company of specialty tool suppliers Miller Special Tools, Kent-Moore and the Owatonna Tool Company.
  
  The Assenmacher 100-30A is a thin-walled, 30 mm deep socket designed for use on a transmission drive shaft flange nut and pinion shaft flange nut. The socket is used on older BMW and Mercedes models, as well as all Toyota models with 30 mm, 12-point axle nuts.
  
  

Disconnect

• The Owatonna Tool Company manufactures an A/C Line Disconnect Tool for Toyota part number OTC-6073. The tool releases the plastic, quick-connect fittings on the high- and low-pressure air conditioning lines at the evaporator. The disconnect tool is compatible with the 1998 and newer Toyota Corolla, the 1998 and newer Geo Prism, the 1998 and newer Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470, the 1999 and newer Toyota Avalon, Solara, Camry and Sienna mini vans.
