    HSF/Gold Standard Scholarship Program

    • Latino students who are enrolled in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university can apply for financial assistance from the HSF/Gold Standard Scholarship Program. The scholarship is sponsored by the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, the National Basketball Association and Bacardi Gold. Recipients of the scholarship can receive up to $30,000 as of the 2010 to 2011 academic school year. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and meet the 3.0 grade point average requirement. The scholarship is only open to students residing in or attending schools in certain cities including Boston, Chicago and New Orleans.

    HSF/Haz La U Scholarship Program

    • The Haz La U Scholarship Program is part of a partnership between Colgate-Palmolive and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. The scholarship offers up to $15,000 for the 2010-2011 academic school year to select students who meet the 3.0 grade point average requirement. The scholarship is open to students who are pursuing their first undergraduate degree at an accredited two- or four-year university or college. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form to be considered.

    HSF/Telemundo Scholarship

    • Latino students in need of financial support can apply for the HSF/Telemundo Scholarship. The scholarship is administered by the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. Students must meet a 3.0 grade point average and reside in the San Francisco Bay Area to be considered for the award. Selected winners will receive up to $5,000 as of the 2010 to 2011 school year. Winners must be willing to attend the Hispanic Business Salute. Applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to be considered for the award.

    HSF/Atrisco Heritage Foundation Scholarship

    • Latino students who are heirs of the Atrisco Land Grant of New Mexico can apply for financial support through the Atrisco Heritage Foundation Scholarship. The land grant was established in 1692 and is still owned by the descendants of the original people. The scholarship awards varying amounts to selected winners who are enrolled on a full-time basis in an accredited university or college. Heirs must contact the Atrisco Companies to obtain an Heir Registration number to be eligible for the scholarship. Students must meet the 2.0 grade point average to apply.
